I have Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy' (which I did as a WW last October http://gwenfarslottie.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/wordless-wednesday-cercis-canadensis.html) in my current garden. It's very pretty, though I find the flowers much much smaller than the Saraca. I love the leaves in particular.
I love the term 'cauliflory' - describes it so well.
